Vague Bio

My career has taken me through many different worlds, each with its own stories to tell. I started in local journalism, where I learned the value of listening and the power of a well-told story. That curiosity led me to Glasgow, Scotland, for an MFA in Creative Writing. There, I explored new (and old) ways to express ideas.

Eventually, I wound up in Paris, France, where I opened an art bookstore (more about that here) and immersed myself in a different, more visual kind of storytelling. After moving back home to Boston, Massachusetts, I focussed my storytelling on foodways, restaurants, and the cultural histories of sports.

Now, as a marketing copywriter and editor, I blend all those past experiences to make honest work across social, long-form blog content, and executive communications that resonates with diverse audiences.
